Authentic Tea Process
In Indian households, drinking chai, or Indian tea, is a cultural ritual. The process involves boiling black tea leaves with spices, adding milk, straining, and sweetening to taste. Beyond a beverage, chai symbolizes social bonding, acting as a catalyst for gatherings where friends, family, and colleagues share stories. Offering chai is a gesture of hospitality, welcoming guests with warmth. With regional variations and adaptability to individual preferences, chai has become a versatile and integral part of daily life in India.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Semi automated tea maker that stores dry ingredients and dispenses it using augers screw mechanism, while the main container brews and boils the tea. The mesh stirrer rotates and mixes the flavours.
This prevents it from overboiling too. The thermostat in the resistance heating, power cuts the temperature transmission once it starts overboiling. The product comes with an infuser & frother container to facilitate making various recipes.
Collaborating with designers from different universities, I learnt to work collectively on a problem. I developed leadership qualities and was able to communicate efficiently.
While interacting with industry experts like the whirlpool product manager, I got an insight into usability, thinking patterns of the user, manufacturability, and ease of access. While pitching the idea to diversified global designers, I gained the confidence to present the project.
